Road Warrior Companion: The HP EliteBook 6930P
HP Korea (should be available here soon assuming it does well) today announced the release of the new HP EliteBook 6930p with a battery that can finally deliver enough life to actually get real work done – it claims up to 24 hours of battery runtime, which is pretty neat indeed.
This one will even have Intel SSDs built in to provide greater durability and reliability (as well as faster performance claimed with SSDs). Data rate transfers are claimed to be 6X faster than traditional hard disks.
It’s not heavy either; weight is listed at 4.7 pounds. It features a 14.1-inch screen.
It’s pretty sturdy too; it’s built to be spill and shock-resistant, and is geared towards the “road warrior” type that really takes their machine through the wringer. It looks to be a pretty impressive machine; we can’t wait to see them on these shores.
