Dell’s market share has been slipping the last year or so, and now they’ve upped the ante with their new notebook release which combines strong specs with stylish design and best of all: really good prices.
The new Dell Inspiron 17 is designed for mobile professionals who are looking for a super-stylish notebook design, big screen and some of the best price/spec ratios we’ve yet seen.
The system is led by an Intel Core 2 Duo processor and features a 17.3-inch HD WLED screen, an Intel GMA X4500HD / ATI Radeon HD 4330 graphics, 4GB RAM, 500GB hard drive, a webcam, even a Blu-ray drive. It comes with Windows Vista (and is eligible for a Win7 upgrade too). Price will start at $499, believe it or not, which is amazing for systems with these sort of specs.
