Small (Redux): The HP Mini 311
Yet another small notebook makes its debut soon from HP, and its in the small, portable classification, like many being released right now. Small and cheap is in, no doubt.
HP announced its new unit of their netbook line with the introduction of the HP Mini 311. More details from the release about the product:
It is a 11.6-inch LCD display that features nVidia ION platform with an Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processor, a 1GB of DDR2 RAM and a 160GB 5400RPM SATA HDD. Additional specs include a 5-in-1 card reader, a built-in webcam for video conference, an integrated microphone, 802.11 b/g WiFi, a 6-cell Lithium Ion battery, and the Microsoft Windows 7 OS.
HP will probably release this in mid-October of this year.
