Laptops with double-digit running time capability are a rare thing indeed these days,
Asus has released the Eee PC 1201n in China, to little fanfare it seems like. If we made a notebook with this kind of juice, we’d be shouting from the rooftops. But that’s just us.
The 12″ screened netbook comes packed with a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 CPU, HD widescreen display with 1366 x 768 res, a powerful nVidia GeForce 9400M, which looks very much like an ION chip.
Other features include a decent 2GB of RAM (maybe its weak link), a 250GB HDD, WiFi, Ethernet, VGA port, audio I/O, and a 6 cell battery that is capable of up to 11 hours of run time, according to the company.
