The line breaks down as follows: The 12-inch U20A, 13.3-inch UX30 and 15.6-inch UX50V, and they have all the very power-sipping Intel Consumer Ultra Low Voltage (CULV), ranging from the solid yet unremarkable 1.2GHz Celeron M in the U20A to the powerful 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo in the UX30 and UX50V.

All models have very solid features, including 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, up to 500GB HDD, and up to 4GB of RAM (both of those on the top model).

The first two models, the U20A and UX30 use Intel’s GMA 4500 graphics (solid for general purpose stuff, but not high-end games and the like), while the UX50V has a dedicated GeForce G 105M with 512MB of video memory.

The thinnest model is the UX30 that measures a wire-thin 0.9-inch thick and weighs a svelte 3.5 pounds, a very Apple like figure indeed. The design of these should turn a few heads, and the middle/high end models have more than enough muscle to get things done.

The Apple MacBook Air garnered a lot of attention when it was launched, and although it is a very unique and trendsetting computer, there are other computers available that are comparable in both performance and weight. In fact this Toshiba notebook is even lighter than the MacBook Air by weighing .6 pounds less at only 2.4 pounds, but you won’t have to give up the convenience of having an optical drive. You’ll get a CD/DVD burner as well as all the necessary ports to connect this computer to all of your other digital devices. Also with this Toshiba Portege you’ll get an even bigger 128 GB Solid State Drive that provides plenty of storage capacity, and as it has no moving parts it’s much faster and more stable than the older hard disk drives. You can be sure to connect to the net just about anywhere with the Portege R500-S5007V through 802.11a/b/g and Draft-n wireless standards as well as to other digital devices that are Bluetooth equipped. This computer is perfect for business use or for students with its built-in microphone, speakers for recording notes, listening to audio or having a VoIP conversation and the spill-proof keyboard and touchpad will make sure that unforeseen accidents won’t ruin this laptop. You won’t get the biggest screen, but at 12.1″ it’s big enough to take care of any computing needs that you have, and it’s easily carried anywhere you need to go. Whether you’re heading back to school or looking for a new work computer, the lightweight Toshiba Portege R500-S5007V 12.1″ notebook will handle every task you need to take care of.

If you’re a fashion conscious consumer and like your high tech devices to keep pace with style as much as technology, then you’ll appreciate what this ultra-portable notebook pc has to offer. This is more than a simple Lenovo laptop, as the exterior is covered in fine French leather that has been painstakingly handcrafted by expert saddle makers, which makes this notebook seem more of a fashion accessory than a computer. However the ThinkPad Reserve Edition isn’t just about high style, because it’s extremely high tech with a 1.6GHz Core 2 Duo processor and has 2GB of memory to provide you with the power you need to speed through most any computing task, and even though this laptop is so small, you’ll still have plenty of storage space on the 160GB hard drive. With it’s compact size, you’ll be able to stay mobile while staying connected thanks to the 802.11a/g/n wireless card as well as communicate with other devices via its built-in Bluetooth connectivity. If data security is of concern to you, then you can take comfort in the fact that this Lenovo ThinkPad will keep you and your data safe with its fingerprinter reader, which limits who can have access to this computer. In this notebook, you’ll get the technology you need with a style that’s fit for the catwalk. For a computer that will keep up with your high style life and your high technology needs, then you’ll want to buy the Lenovo ThinkPad Reserve Edition 12.1″ notebook for the best of both worlds.
